Monticello Utah Temple Plaque
This multi-layer "mandala style" temple plaque is an original design. The detailed art piece is created out of 9 layers of laser-cut birch and stained birch, as well as bright maple and deep walnut woods. Each layer is slightly different than the one above and uses design elements that reflect the unique architectural detail found in this specific temple, an effect that is relaxing and mesmerizing.
This unique piece of inspirational artwork makes a special gift for friends, newly weds and loved ones. It can be showcased in your home or office, hung on a wall or displayed on a desk or shelf.
Monticello Utah Temple was dedicated on July 26, 1998. The temple serves nearly 13,000 church members in Blanding, Moab, and Monticello, Utah areas and members from Durango, Colorado and Grand Junction, Colorado.
Located at the base of the Abajo Mountains, the temple's exterior is finished in a marble called Noah's Crème. Thirteen thousand tiles used on the temple were evaluated carefully to make sure they blended with each other for a uniform effect.
