FAQ's – Wood Bow Ties

1. Are they truly wearable? 

Yes—designed for your neck, not your mantel.

2. Are the bow ties really made of wood?

Yep. We use over a dozen different types of actual wood.

3. Are they heavy?

Not at all. They’re surprisingly lightweight.

4. How do they stay on?

Each tie has an adjustable strap—no woodworking or tying skills required.

5. Can I customize one?

Absolutely! Names, images, logos… basically anything short of your entire autobiography.

6. What occasions are they good for? 

Weddings, dances, photoshoots, business meetings—or whenever you want people to say, “Hold up… is your tie wood?”

7. Are they fragile?

Nope. They’re layered, finished, and sturdier than most New Year’s resolutions.

8. Do kids wear them too?

Yes! We have kid sizes as well, and they look adorable. Warning: may cause excessive compliments.

9. How do I clean it?

A quick wipe with a dry cloth. Please don’t toss it in the dishwasher.

10. Do you offer bulk orders?

How are the temple plaques made?

Each plaque is built from 8–12 layers of laser-cut woods, creating depth and dimension.

2. What woods do you use?

Walnut, maple, cedar, alder, birch, and more—basically the A-list celebrity trees.

3. Can I request a specific temple?

Yes! If it exists, we can design it. If it’s still being built, we’ll wait patiently with you.

4. Can you add names or dates?

Of course. A little engraving goes a long way.

5. Do you create custom designs?

Absolutely. Temples, landmarks, vintage cars, your grandma’s cabin—basically anything that sits still long enough to be laser-cut.

6. How long does a custom plaque design take?

Usually 1–4 weeks. Art takes time… and so do laser beams.

7. Are they ready to hang?

Yes. Hang it, stand it, showcase it—you do you.

8. Do you offer different sizes?

They sure do. We offer everything from small 5"×6" displays to big 20"×24" wall pieces (and we can go even larger if you want a real showstopper).

9. Is there a meaning behind the layers?

The steps represent growth and progression—line upon line. Plus, they just look really cool.
