1. How are the temple plaques made?

Each plaque is built from 8–12 layers of laser-cut woods, creating depth and dimension.

What woods do you use?

Walnut, maple, cedar, alder, birch, and more—basically the A-list celebrity trees.

Can I request a specific temple?

Yes! If it exists, we can design it. If it’s still being built, we’ll wait patiently with you.

Can you add names or dates?

Of course. A little engraving goes a long way.

Do you create custom designs?

Absolutely. Temples, landmarks, vintage cars, your grandma’s cabin—basically anything that sits still long enough to be laser-cut.

How long does a custom plaque design take?

Usually 1–4 weeks. Art takes time… and so do laser beams.

Bob Kane - Comic Book Design, Red Cedar and Maple Wood Bow Tie

Created to play well in all the Comic Book Extravaganzas and ComicCons, and named in honor of the Batman's creator Bob Kane. Engraved in maple and meranti mahogany woods. Classic comic book onomatopoeia are the focus of this design.

Maple is one of the lightest and brightest woods. Wood bow ties made from maple have a brighter finish and a wide, less distinct grain, so we use maple for bow ties with engravings that demand lighter coloration.

This custom bow tie is part of the Slim Collection. Bow ties from this collection use the Straight (a.k.a Batwing) shape style – this shape is thin and symmetrical, which makes for a sleek, clean impression.

Approx. 1.5" tall, 4.5" wide, .5" thick. All our adult size ties come with an adjustable tuxedo strap, fitting 13" - 24" in diameter.
